Idaho Transportation Department
Project Dates:  January 2011 – January 2012

The Wilson Group is conducting an Availability/Disparity Study for the Idaho Transportation Department.  The study is focused on the Idaho Transportation Department’s DBE program to include the Federal Highway Administration, Federal Transit Administration and Federal Aviation Authority federally assisted contracts.

District Department of Transportation – Subconsultant to HNTB of D.C.
Project Dates:  August 2009 – June 2013

This five year project monitors the special provisions for a $260 million design-build-budget bridge replacement of the 14th Street Bridge.  Our responsibilities include monitoring and conducting periodic audits of the following:  DBE utilization; OJT/Apprenticeships; certified payroll; and, prompt payment to all subcontracts.

The Wilson Group is conducting a disparity study for the Colorado Department of Transportation within the legal framework established by 49 CFR Part 26 and court rulings. The study will include a legal analysis; a detailed review of procurement policy and procedures; utilization analysis of highway construction and highway design. The study will determine if disparity exists between the availability of capable minority/women owned or disadvantaged firms and the absence or presence of discrimination in the transportation industry in Colorado. The study will also examine how identified disparities relate to the implementation of its Federal DBE program in Colorado's Highway Construction and Design Program.
